Marsha Blackburn Backs Trump Plan: ‘We Need to Halt The Migration of Syrian Refugees’

Marsha Blackburn

Tennessee Republican Rep. Marsha Blackburn is calling for a halt to the importation of Muslim Syrian refugees, backing presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s policy of a temporary moratorium on Muslim migration into America.

“We all know the facts from the Orlando attack and they are absolutely heartbreaking,” Blackburn said on the House floor. “We know that the terrorist pledged his allegiance to ISIS before he carried out the assaults and murders of 49 people.”

“We also know that we need to be supporting our law enforcement. What we’re learning is that law enforcement, local law enforcement, is constrained by political correctness. They’re constrained by lack of communication,” she continued. “They’re constrained. And we have to understand that they are on the front lines in this fight.”

Spending large sums of taxpayer money on inconclusively investigating Muslims who later go on to exhibit Sudden Jihad Syndrome is a failed strategy, Blackburn said. It’s smarter to simply halt further Muslim immigration for the time being.

“The FBI twice investigated the Orlando shooter. This reveals vetting is nearly impossible and it is one of the reasons that the vetting processes are impossible — that we need to halt the migration of Syrian refugees until a proper process is in place.”

The Islamic terrorist, Omar Mateen, was an anchor baby born in New York to Muslim Afghani migrants. Breitbart News has previously reported on the state of migration flowing from violent, sharia-controlled Afghanistan into the U.S.:

Between 2001 and 2013, the U.S. permanently resettled nearly 30,000 Afghan migrants on green cards. According to Pew, nearly all Muslims in Afghanistan (99%) support sharia law as official law. As legal immigrants, these migrants will be granted lifetime resettlement privileges will be given automatic work permits, welfare access, and the ability to become voting citizens. Between 2001 and 2013, the United States permanently resettled 1.5 million Muslim immigrants throughout the United States. In the next five years, without changes to our autopilot visa dispensations, the U.S. will permanently resettle a Muslim population larger than the entire population of Washington D.C.
