Republican nominee Donald Trump responded to the news Wednesday morning that the remaining charges against three Baltimore police officers had been dropped in the case of the death of Freddie Gray.
The New Yorker calls the actions of the Baltimore state attorney “disgraceful.”
“I think she ought to prosecute herself,” Trump stated of Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn J. Mosby, who charged several police officers in the death of Freddie Gray, which had sparked riots in the streets of Baltimore. “It was disgraceful what she did…and the news conference that she had where they were guilty before anyone even knew the facts.”
“I give a lot of respect, a lot of credit, that they stuck it out,” the billionaire added about the police officers in that case.
“She should be held accountable,” Trump added of Mosby.
