Bob Paduchik, co-chairman Republican National Committee (RNC), told Breitbart News Saturday hosts Matthew Boyle and Amanda House exclusively that “Democrats would rather have a political campaign issue than solve a problem.”

Paduchik argued that the Democrats’ rejection of President Donald Trump’s immigration proposal, which included a pathway for citizenship for 1.8 million illegal aliens, “exposed the Democrats’ hypocrisy” on immigration.

“What it’s done is that it’s exposed the Democrats’ hypocrisy on this issue,” Paduchik claimed. “They could have resolved these problems when Barack Obama was president for two years they had a supermajority in the Senate and a majority in the House of Representatives. They didn’t put down a single piece of legislation through during that time.”

Paduchik continued, suggesting that the Democrats focus on divisive issues rather than address issues facing the working men and women of America.

The RNC co-chairman charged, “The Democrat party isn’t the working men and women party, they are the party of special interest and identity politics. They don’t care about working families. Instead, they focus on all of these divisive issues, whether’s it’s immigration, social justice issues, or other social issues.”

“Trump was able to reach out to independents and disaffected Democrats,” Paduchik added.

Paduchik then told Boyle and the House that the Democrats’ obsessions about alleged collusion between Russia and the Donald Trump campaign during the 2016 presidential campaign only plays in the Russians’ favor.

“Democrats that wave the flag of collusion are playing right into the Russians’ hand,” Paduchik said.

“They’re sitting back, thinking that this is their most successful program ever,” Paduchik said.

Paduchik charged, “They want divisive issues that they can use to use through identity politics to try to elect more Democrats.”
