President Donald Trump endorsed billionaire Foster Friess in the Wyoming Republican primary for governor on Tuesday.

“To the incredible people of the Great State of Wyoming: Go VOTE TODAY for Foster Friess – He will be a fantastic Governor!” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Strong on Crime, Borders & 2nd Amendment. Loves our Military & our Vets. He has my complete and total Endorsement!”

Friess is currently challenging Wyoming establishment candidate, Wyoming Treasurer Mark Gordon.

The most recent poll of Wyoming voters showed the race in a dead heat as six Republicans are running to succeed Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead.

Friess has financially supported many conservative causes and was a avid supporter of Rick Santorum’s presidential campaigns.

He endorsed Trump’s presidential candidacy in May of 2016.

Donald Trump Jr. also endorsed Friess on Tuesday.
