Rev. Franklin Graham is urging Americans to “look prayerfully at what both parties stand for,” laying out a few key differences between the Republican Party and Democrat Party in a viral social media post less than two weeks before Election Day.
Graham, a vocal supporter for the principles of conservatism, provided a brief post to help Americans see some of the key differences between the two parties ahead of November 3.
“Do you know who to vote for in the midterms? Let me give you some help, but you decide,” Graham said in the social media post, reminding voters that Democrats stand for open borders, taxpayer-funded benefits for noncitizens, and more.
“The Democratic Party wants open borders, while the Republican Party wants secure borders. The Democratic Party wants noncitizens to be able to vote; the Republican Party supports requiring voter ID,” Graham explained. “The Democratic Party wants to give taxpayer-funded benefits like healthcare to noncitizens; the Republican Party says No to that. And there are a hundred more issues.”
He added, “The choice is yours—but look prayerfully at what both parties stand for.”
Graham’s plea comes less than two weeks from the critical midterm election, where Democrats hope to gain a majority in the Senate and House to completely stall President Donald Trump’s America First agenda and reignite lawfare for the second half of his presidency.
The Cook Political Report currently has seven Senate races listed as complete tossups, including the races in Texas between Republican Ken Paxton and Democrat James Talarico – the latter of whom has openly offered pagan prayers and denies Jesus is the only way while sitting under a pastor and mentor who doubts the resurrection of Jesus – as well as the Senate race in Kansas between Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) and Democrat Methodist Pastor Adam Hamilton. Similarly to the race in Texas, Hamilton also embraces unBiblical beliefs, stating in past teachings that he does not believe that an individual must know or follow Jesus Christ in their lifetime in order to be saved and spend eternity with God – a central tenet of the Christian faith. He also believes the Bible is full of errors.
On the House side, the Cook Political Report lists 21 tossup races as well. Notably, the Democrats are running openly socialist candidates in some of these races, such as Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidate Melat Kiros in Colorado, who calls for a Trans Bill of Rights and believes that the freedom to murder an unborn baby equals “economic freedom.”
Notably, opposition to basic voter ID and immigration enforcement – identified by Graham – are just two examples of the policies Democrat candidates across the board – socialists and “moderates” alike – appear to agree on.
