TEL AVIV — The riots in the streets of Iran have excited social media networks in the Sunni Arab world ever since they first broke out, with many expressing their hope that the confrontations would harm the extremist Iranian regime, which is trying to exert its influence over Arab states.

Arab States Are Conning Obama on Iran Deal

The Arab states have opposed the Iran deal from a very early stage, seeing Iran’s regional ambitions as a direct threat. As negotiations went on, Saudi Arabia and other states were vocal and demonstrative in their protests, and warned that they, too, might seek nuclear weapons.
