2nd Man Charged for Deaths of 10 Illegal Aliens in Texas

Federal prosecutors obtained an indictment charging a second man for the deaths of 10 illegal immigrants while being smuggled in a hot 18-wheeler this summer. The Department of Justice (DOJ) also announced it is not seeking the death penalty in these cases.

Truck Driver Indicted in San Antonio Human Smuggling Deaths

A federal grand jury handed down an indictment against the Florida truck driver arrested in connection with the deaths of 10 illegal aliens. The man is accused of hauling more than 100 illegal aliens from Laredo to San Antonio. He allegedly locked the illegal aliens in the back of the trailer where they faced temperatures in excess of 110 degrees for several hours.

Illegal Alien Smuggling Survivors Will Testify for Visas

Some of the survivors from the deadly human smuggling incident discovered in San Antonio on Sunday said they will testify if they get visas to stay in the United States, a lawyer disclosed on Tuesday.

Open Borders Group Attacks Texas Cops for Calling ICE in Smuggling Deaths Case

An illegal immigrant advocacy group attacked the San Antonio Police Department for calling Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after they discovered a trailer full of dead and critically endangered illegal aliens early Sunday. The organization’s leader says the smuggling victims were further traumatized by the presence of ICE. She also blamed the deaths on the Trump Administration’s immigration policies.
