Student Reporter Allegedly Assaulted for Filming Anti-MILO Berkeley Riot

A reporter for the Tab was allegedly assaulted by “anti-fascists” while filming the anti-MILO riot at UC Berkeley on Wednesday night.

Berkeley student journalist Pranav Jandhyala claimed that a group of protesters assaulted him and tried to take his phone, after they were upset that he was filming them.

“I was just assaulted by a group of people in black masks, they tried to take my phone,” he claimed in a video. “They were mad that I was filming what was going on.”

Jandhyala’s footage depicts a violent and chaotic scene as rioters break down security barricades and attempt to knock the phone out of his hand.

Far-left “anti-fascist” rioters assaulted numerous attendees, started fires, smashed up shops and ATMs, and attacked people’s cars at Breitbart Senior Editor MILO’s UC Berkeley show on Wednesday, forcing the event to be cancelled.

Several celebrities expressed support for the riot, including Hollywood director Judd Apatow, while UC Berkeley released a statement condemning the violence that took place.
