Congressman Culberson to Host Early Town Hall Meeting

HOUSTON, TEXAS–Houston area Congressman John Culberson (R) announced an upcoming town hall meeting to update constituents on issues he faces as a representative of Texas’ 7th Congressional District. Culberson also uses the town hall meetings to learn from the voters of his district, issue that are important to them.

Many times, Members of Congress hold their town hall meetings during the August recess. Breitbart Texas contacted Culberson’s office about this Spring Break timeframe. Culberson’s Communications Director, Stephen Worley responded by saying, “Washington is out of control. People need to hear from their elected officials and ask questions about what they’re doing to fight back against this Administration’s reckless spending and overreach. Congressman Culberson holds town hall meetings around the district throughout the year.”

Congressman Culberson told Breitbart Texas in a written statement, “I enjoy holding town halls throughout District 7. These events are a great opportunity for me to hear my constituents’ suggestions and concerns, and I look forward to discussing what House conservatives are doing to cut spending and rein in government overreach.”

The town hall meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 18th, at West University Elementary School located at 376 University Blvd in Houston.  It will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
