Obama Touts Manufacturing, 'Shared Responsibility' In Weekly Address

President Obama used his weekly address to promote American manufacturing and used a recent sale of Boeing aircraft as an example of his administration’s success. He went on to discuss a wide-range of penalties for businesses who out-source jobs, but never once pointed out that the Boeing deal he is claiming credit for only occurred after the Indonesian customer for the planes received a U.S. loan guarantee.
