Carney: OK For Obama To Learn About Scandals From Press Reports

White House Spokesman Jay Carney told reporters on Wednesday that it was not a sign of a lack of leadership that the President and top officials are discovering scandals in the administration at the same time as the American people from press reports. “I would be interested to see what the reporting would be if it were otherwise,” Carney said. He went on to list the importance of a “firewall” between criminal investigations and the administration.
