Shocking First Independently Verified Pictures by ITV News of Chemical Attack in Syria

(Graphic Content Warning) ITN: ITV News has obtained the first independent pictures from the scene of the alleged chemical attack in eastern Damascus. Women and children can be seen lying in the rubble as well as an apparent missile that caused the alleged attack, which according to the opposition, has killed more than a thousand. A UN team is already in Syria but only has permission to visit specific locations. The regime has dismissed as “baseless” claims it was behind the latest incident. Chemical weapons experts have agreed some kind of chemical attack took place, but are unsure whether it was caused by a nerve agent. Report by Sarah Kerr.
