Sunday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Sunday,” former Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA), the Republican 2012 presidential nominee, said he was unaware Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) announced last week he was entering the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
Answering a question on Paul foreign policy stance Romney said. “We’ll take what he says today and that will be the platform he runs with as a candidate for president, if he gets in the race.”
Host Chris Wallace interrupted to say, “Well, no, he’s in the race. He got in last week.”
Laughing Romney replied, “I haven’t kept my scorecard as to who’s actually officially in, as to who’s just kind of in.”
