ESPN’s Bayless: Patriots Owner Kraft Just Declared War on NFL Commish

During Friday’s “First Take” on ESPN2, co-host Skip Bayless responded to the New England Patriots report released in response to the Ted Wells Report, which found them to be probably guilty of tampering with game-used footballs. The NFLPA has filed for an appeal of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s four game suspension.

Bayless, acting surprised by the Patriots lengthy report, which debunks the Ted Wells Report, proclaimed that Patriots owner Robert Kraft has now declared war on NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

“Mr. Kraft, maybe the strongest, staunchest supporter of Roger Goodell in the National Football League just broke ranking, just went rogue, just broke all the NFL owner’s rules and he attacked the report commissioned by the commissioner Roger Goodell. In effect, Robert Kraft just attacked the credibility, publicly attacked it, of Roger Goodell.”

Bayless later added, “In the end all I know for sure is a man you respect more than any other owner, because you have often told me that, just declared war on the commissioner he has staunchly supported.”
