Carville on Biden Run: ‘He’s Done It Twice and He Hasn’t Had the Best Track Record Doing It’

Sunday on  “The Cats Roundtable”  AM 970 The Answer in New York City, former Clinton campaign manager James Carville was interviewed by host John Catsimatidis. Carville sounded off on a number of things, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and woes on the campaign trail and the media scrutiny she is facing over her email server and the early success of real estate mogul Donald Trump in the GOP presidential contest.

He also weighed in on the possibility of a 2016 run for the Democratic presidential nomination by Vice President Joe Biden.

“Running for president is hard,” Carville said. “It’s really, really hard. It’s like trying to win the World Series or something. If he wants to run, and he’s run twice before – there’s nothing, nobody can talk him out of it … He’s a good guy. I like the vice president. I think most people – I know very few people who don’t like him. But, he’s done it twice, and he hasn’t had the best track record doing it. He may want to go a third time.”

Carville went on to add he still remains confident that Clinton will ultimately be the Democratic nominee.
