A Florida daycare director was arrested for child abuse after video of her mistreating a four-year-old was given to police, per a report by KFOR.
The video was shot by one of the daycare employees who was not comfortable with the director’s treatment of the child.
The daycare director, 41-year-old Kimberly Reid, can be seen in the video hitting a 4-year-old boy multiple times and throwing him to the ground.
Reid said she was merely “playing rough” with the child.
According to police, she was already on probation for welfare fraud and grand theft.
The child is doing well and is physically unharmed, according to KFOR.
