McConnell: ‘I Didn’t Think President Trump Had a Chance of Winning’

This week on KET’s “One to One,” Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said he was surprised by President-elect Donald Trump victory on election night.

McConnell said, “I honestly thought we wouldn’t hold the U.S. Senate. I thought we’d come up short, and I didn’t think President Trump had a chance of winning.”
