NBPC VP on Caravan: We’re Going to See More of This if Agency Heads Aren’t Removed or Do Their Jobs

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” National Border Patrol Council Vice President Art Del Cueto discussed the migrant caravan and stated that until the heads of certain agencies, including the Border Patrol, do their jobs or are removed, “we’re going to continue to see this.”

Del Cueto began by saying, “You know the reality is, this is not a caravan coming into the United States. What it is is an invasion.”

Del Cueto later stated, “[Y]ou would think that the leaders from the agency would have a plan if it happened again. And here they are with no plan again. They put it all on the president. They want the president to take care of everything. But the reality is, and I’ve said it many times before, and I’ll hammer it again, is, until the individuals that are running certain agencies get removed, or start doing what needs to be done, we’re going to continue to see this.”

He added, “I’m talking about my own agency, for one. You know, you have individuals that are running the agency that are — that were here during the last administration. They’re still here now. They haven’t done anything about the catch-and-release.”
