Former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields expressed disappointment late Wednesday night that a Florida prosecutor leaked his decision not to prosecute Donald Trump’s campaign manager for battery to the press.
Fields thought she’d be the first to know.
In March, Fields said that campaign manager Corey Lewandowski grabbed her and bruised her arm while she was questioning Trump as he walked out of a press event. She later filed assault charges against Lewandowski.
Prosecutor's office told me they would inform me of decision tomorrow. If reports true, guess they decided to leak to reporters first. Ugly.

For those asking, office of prosecutor asked 2 weeks ago if I'd be ok with an apology from Corey. I said ya but haven't heard back about it

Ben Shapiro, a former Breitbart columnist, said that the decision by the Florida prosecutor not to prosecute does not exonerate Lewandowski.
Exercise of prosecutorial discretion is not innocence. Lewandowski grabbed her and bruised her. https://t.co/Ip13QOC0gJ

Fox News host and attorney Greta Van Susteren advised Fields not pursue a civil lawsuit:
Free legal advice to Michelle Fields: don’t bring a civil lawsuit https://t.co/pfx43rHOpQ

Fields tweeted that she isn’t interested in the advice:
I think I’ll pass on getting legal advice from a Trump shill. Thanks tho. https://t.co/YoPznOC9LB
