Teacher Prosecuted for Telling Students to Hit Alleged Bully
Texas just ain’t Texas anymore.
This week, a South Texas kindergarten teacher who encouraged the victims of bullying to fight back against their tormenter was indicted. According to prosecutors, Cynthia Ambrose was charged with the crime of “official oppression.” She could serve up to a year in jail.
The parents of the alleged bully say that their kid wasn’t a bully, and that Ambrose told the other kids to line up and smack their kid.
