Last Friday, House Speaker John Boehner told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to simply "Go f--k yourself" as tensions boiled over between the two Congressional leaders days before the country was slated to go over the so-called fiscal cliff.
Here's how Politico described the exchange:
“Go f— yourself,” Boehner sniped as he pointed his finger at Reid, according to multiple sources present.
Reid, a bit startled, replied: “What are you talking about?”
Boehner repeated: “Go f— yourself.”
Late Tuesday night, the parties agreed to a deal to avoid the fiscal cliff, which included raising taxes on individuals and families making over $400,000 and $450,000, respectively.
