Shrinkage: Springsteen/Obama Stop Draws Less than Average Boss Concert

The Boss and the country’s boss gathered one last time Monday as part of President Barack Obama’s final campaign push.

The crowd tally? Roughly 18,000 people according to Team Obama.

Not bad … or is it?

The average Bruce Springsteen concert in 2007-08 drew nearly 22,000 fans. And, back in 2004 when Sen. John Kerry joined forces with the rock legend, the crowd was an impressive 80,000 (and Kerry still lost).
