Celebrities often speak glowing of nonviolence, castigating anyone who would consider striking back against an opponent rather than talking things out.
Ron Perlman, famed for playing Hellboy in two films as well as for his colorful turn in the new adventure Pacific Rim, doesn’t mind advocating violence. It just has to be aimed at the right people–like a star from the GOP.
The character actor interrupted his own tweets about the plight of Detroit, a city under the grip of Democratic rule that just declared bankruptcy, to slam a Republican.
Btw, every day somebody doesn’t punch in the mouth is a dark day in !! But I digress…Whudda we want? !
The actor also labeled House Speaker John Boehner a buffoon in a subsequent tweet:
We should not be judged on how many laws we make. We ought to be judged on how many laws we repeal!” #MrSpeaker, U R A Bufoon!
