#1 Valparaiso 70, #4 Green Bay 69
#1 seed Valpo squeaked by a game Green Bay team on the strength of a last-second desperation three pointer by Ryan Broekhoff, advancing to the Horizon finals against third-seed Wright State.
It was the fifth three-pointer for Broekhoff, who scored 25 to lead the Crusaders. Keifer Sykes led the Phoenix with 31 in the loss.

March Madness began early in the Horizon Tournament, where third seed Wright State upset Detroit on a last second, off balance baseline jumper from Miles Dixon as time expired.
