Oregon Continues Run as Nation's Hottest Team, Set to Face Louisville

In the first half, the Ducks were clearly the better basketball team, andtheir defense was suffocating the the Billikens offense and closing thefirst half with a 16 point, 35-19 lead. Fortunately for Oregon fans, theDucks never let up, defeating Saint Louis 74-57.

Manysaid that Oregon was vastly under-seeded as a 12th seed, and, for thesecond straight game, they have proven it. The Billikens likewise cameinto the tournament hot and were a trendy pick with some, however, theywere no match for the Ducks.

Oregon was led by Freshman Damyean Dotson who scored 23 points for the Ducks.

ForLouisville, the Ducks have to be among the teams they would least liketo see in the Sweet Sixteen. Coming off the Pac-12 Tournamentchampionship, the Ducks have looked outstanding in the first two roundsof the NCAA Tournament. While the Cardinals will remain the favorite, anyone taking the Ducks lightly does so at their peril.
