Giants Player Renting Out Condo on Craigslist During Super Bowl: Too 'Depressing' to Stay

New York Giants rookie defensive back Cooper Taylor is putting up his condo by MetLife Stadium, where the Super Bowl will be played on February 2, 2014, for rent for $9,000 during Super Bowl week.

Taylor shares the condo with his girlfriend, who is a real estate broker, and he said it would be too depressing to stay around when his team is not playing in the big game.

“It will be too depressing to stick around for the madness,” Taylor told the New York Post. “We thought it would be the best time to get out of the city and go on vacation because that week will be a madhouse. I am definitely disappointed that we are not playing in it. It would make it a lot more fun,” said Taylor.

According to the Craigslist ad, “the stadium is actually 0.6 miles away and the train is just two blocks from the building.”
