Player Throws Shoe At Iowa Coach Mid-Game

During a game at Northwestern on Sunday, Aaron White, an Iowa sophomore, nearly hit his coach Fran McCaffery when he threw NW player Alex Marcotullio’s shoe off the court. Marcotullio lost his shoe and White saw an opportunity to clear the floor so the play could continue. White tossed it hard at the bench, narrowly missing an alert Coach McCaffery who dodged the flying object coming toward his head.
