Apple Announces New Bigger iPhone 6, Apple Pay Mobile Wallet

Tuesday at the  Flint Performing Arts Center in Cupertino, CA, Apple unveiled two larger iPhones, and a mobile payments system “Apple Pay” that CEO Tim Cook called a mobile wallet.

The two new iPhone 6’s have screens that are 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, which is larger then the four inches on the iPhone 5S.

The new pay feature will allow users to pay with their phones at the cash register for everyday purchases using an NFC antenna, and Touch ID.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “This whole process is based on this little piece of plastic, whether its a credit or debit card, We’re totally reliant on the exposed numbers, and the outdated and vulnerable magnetic interface, which by the way is five decades old, and the security codes which all of us know aren’t so secure.”
