This afternoon, while Obama was giving his White House press corps. their marching orders to blame sequester for his failed economy (which CNN's Ali Velshi wasted no time following), the president mixed up his "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" metaphors.
It was a silly gaffe, but in the age of Twitter, enough of one to gin up some mockery through hashtags.
