Asked for her reaction to last night’s Republican debate, “It was Cruz’s night,” says anti-jihad activist Pamela Geller as a guest today on Breitbart News Daily.

Geller said she thinks the media and the GOP establishment are “still in denial” about their inability to pick the Republican nominee this year. “They were lobbing such softballs to Jeb Bush,” said Geller, referring to the debate moderators, adding that Jeb “is beyond saving” in her view as far as securing the nomination.

“I like him. I like him a lot,” said Geller of Senator Ted Cruz, “I think he has the gravitas and the intellect and the conviction required for this incredible mess that we’re in.”

While Geller didn’t predict any kind of a “shift” as a result of last night’s debate, she did say she thought it was a positive, “informative” event.

Geller’s harshest criticism was reserved for Hillary Clinton, who she thinks is “talking herself to death” without providing any real solutions for what we’re going to do about radical Islam.

She also expects a long tough battle for the nomination but would like to see the field start to be thinned and that the nominee will be an “outside,” or a “true conservative” versus a typical establishment Republican in the end.
