A group of protesters outside the Democrat Nation Convention railed against Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation for their long-reported history of using their global connections to exploit the poor people and the resources on the tiny Caribbean island of Haiti.
“We hope that [Clinton Cash] film gets spread around so more people are informed about what’s going on there,” the female protester told Breitbart News on Monday.
The protester said they “basically stole the money,” when asked if she had an issue with the Clinton Foundation.
“It never got to the masses,” she continued, “it never trickled down to the masses.”
“And the Clintons have been doing evil deeds in Haiti for years,” the protested said.
More than 500,000 people tuned in to watch the motion picture adaptation of Clinton Cash over the weekend during its global premiere.
“In the movie, did they mention that Hillary Clinton’s brother has a contract for a gold mining company for 25 years?” the protester asked.
“Does that make sense to you?” she asked, adding “Does that sound like a conflicted of interest?”
Indeed in the wake of the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, Hillary Clinton’s brother, Tony Rodham, landed a lucrative and historically rare Haitian “gold exploitation permit.”
Rodham sat on the board of, VCS Mining — a tiny, North Carolina-based, self-described mining company — which in 2012 received one of only two such gold exploitation permits from the Haitian government, the first issued in over five decades.
And, as the protester told Breitbart News, the mining project in Morne Bossa allows VCS Mining to renew the project for up to 25 years.
“The Clintons have their hands very dirty when it comes to Haiti,” she said.
