Trump’s Inaugural Parade Time and Details Released

AP-Inauguration-Day

The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) released the order of the 2017 Inaugural parade, in which more than 8,000 people will trail President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence from the U.S. Capitol to the White House.

The distance is roughly 1.5 miles down Pennsylvania Avenue and was a tradition that started in 1801 with Thomas Jefferson.

Members of the public are able to watch the parade.

“Members of our Armed Forces will join groups representing everyday Americans from across the country in the parade, which follows the Presidential Escort. Additionally, each branch of the military will pay tribute to our country by doing a flyover at the appropriate point when their branch is represented in the parade,” reads PIC’s press release about the parade details.
