Justin Miller, a senior editor at the left-wing Daily Beast, has yet to issue a Tweet of any kind calling for prayers or condolences for the victims of last night’s horrific shooting at Emanuel AME, a historic black church in Charleston, South Carolina. Miller has, however, already fired off a series of tweets advancing his left-wing political agenda.
Already, Miller is exploiting the deaths of nine innocent people to attack “barbaric” America and guns.
After his rant, he then used his Twitter account to ask the granddaughter of a shooting victim to DM him:
—
“Gunman attacks church.” – not Boko Haram – not the Taliban – not ISIS – an American.
— Justin Miller (@justinjm1) June 18, 2015
—
Gunman killed more people last night in America than every ISIS wannabe http://t.co/NwNhzhHvcC
— Justin Miller (@justinjm1) June 18, 2015
—
@stuartpstevens how barbaric we must look to the rest of the world with all our goddamn guns
— Justin Miller (@justinjm1) June 18, 2015
—
Miller’s mercenary impulses were painfully obvious just a few minutes later, when he thoughtlessly requested that the granddaughter of one of the shooting victims send him a DM:
—
@steelydanalbum Amber, I’m a journalist. May we speak to you? going to follow you to DM
— Justin Miller (@justinjm1) June 18, 2015

9 innocent people. Where does this sick instinct come from to exploit such a thing to advance your own agenda… https://t.co/ZtDsZN5ouR

According to his Twitter bio, Miller previously wrote for The Atlantic and New York Magazine.
Miller made news in February when he tweeted “Fuck you” to Republican Senator Rand Paul.
Police are still looking for the shooter, described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, with sandy hair. Here is a photo.
