True to Form, Moore Seems to Have Exaggerated for Effect

In response to Huffpo: Ben Smith, BuzzFeed ‘Government-Subservient’ Stenographers:

BuzzFeed definitely made some mistakes but Glenn Greenwald’s outrage seems a bit over the top (as usual). Even Huff Post is backing off the outrage a bit:

UPDATE: BuzzFeed wrote a second story
on Tuesday, this time quoting five LAX officials and saying that the
logs from the airport showed that Burnat was detained for 23 minutes.
The story still differs widely from Moore and Burnat’s account of the
detention.
[Emphasis mine]

Twenty-three minutes isn’t nothing. I’d definitely be annoyed if I was diverted at an airport for that long. That said, it’s not nearly the 90 minutes that Michael Moore claimed in his version of events.
