The arrested individual is under suspicion for a potential terror attack, and there have been no injuries.
The arrest and possibly averted attack comes just a month after the Westminster attack, in which Khalid Masood killed four by driving a hired car across Westminster Bridge, ramming pedestrians. After crashing the vehicle Masood proceeded on foot into Palace Yard where he stabbed PC Keith Palmer to death.
