Obama Puts Political Tool in National Security Job

President Obama has no experience in the national security arena. He seems to consider it an inconvenience distracting him from his mission of fundamentally transforming America into a humble social democracy. But up until now he has at least kept up the facade that he gave a rat’s ass about it. Well apparently he can’t even manage to fake it any more so we get this.

WASHINGTON — Gen. James Jones, the gruff-talking military man President Barack Obama drafted as his national security adviser, announced Friday he was quitting after a tenure marked by ambitious foreign policy changes and undercurrents of corrosive turf battles.

Jones will be replaced by his chief deputy, Tom Donilon, a former Democratic political operative and lobbyist who in many ways is already the day-to-day leader of the White House national security operation.

Could there be a more naked and blatant lack of care for the most important task an American President has? It would be tough to think of one. In Barack Obama’s war cabinet, national security is a political function to be administered by a political tool in the service of the polls. You can read all you want about this Donilon and all you will find is that he is one of the many members of the permament parasite class that makes decent people sick.

Donilon’s only claim to any experience advising the President about how to keep all of us safe is that he has been aggravating the shit out of everyone actually involved in keeping us safe for two years now. He was appointed as the Deputy National Security Adviser based on the fact that he was most recently Joe Biden’s tool and Joe wanted someone on the inside advocationg for his muscular version of cut and run, the Magic Ninja plan.

Now when Obama kept Gates on as Sec Def, I applauded. When he picked Jones as NSA, it was more of a golf clap. When he replaces Jones with toolasuarus Donilon, it is a couple of birds flying. A Democrat lawyer who doesn’t have a clue what it takes to give him the room to fleece taxpayers is hardly what we need in a dangerous world. It gives us a perfect look at O’s priorities. It is now perfectly fair to say that Barack Obama cares more about his own political power than his sworn duty to keep us all safe. What a disgrace.
