NEW YORK, May 9 (UPI) — Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are extending The River Tour, which the iconic rock ‘n’ roll group kicked off in January.
Eight newly announced shows will start Aug. 23 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. The other stops through Sept. 14 will be in Chicago; Washington, D.C.; Virginia Beach, Va.; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; and Foxborough, Mass.
The concerts will follow 37 initial North American dates.
The band will start an 11-week European trek May 14 in Barcelona. Shows are also planned for Italy’s Rock in Rome and Portugal’s Rock in Rio Lisboa.
