LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (UPI) — First-time parents-to-be Carlos PenaVega and Alexa Pena Vega are revealing new details about their unborn child.
The actor and actress, both 27, shared a photo of a sonogram and their baby’s name and sex Sunday on Instagram.
“Ocean King PenaVega #babypenavega #daddyslittleboy,” Carlos wrote. Alexa posted the same picture on her account and explained the couple’s name choice in the caption.
“God called the dry ground ‘land’ and the water the ‘seas.’ And God saw that it was good. This is why we went with Ocean,” the star said. “He is a son of the one true ‘King.’ For us it has a beautiful biblical meaning.”
“We can’t wait to meet this little blessing. #BabyPenaVega #MyLilMan,” she wrote.
Carlos and Alexa, born Carlos Pena and Alexa Vega, married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in 2014, and changed their surname to the blended name PenaVega after the wedding. The pair had announced in June that they’re expecting their first child.
“I cannot believe I finally get to say this… we’re pregnant!” Alexa said at the time. “A Little blessing is joining the PenaVega family! We can’t wait! #ItsHappening #HolyWow #LosForDaddyOfTheYear.”
Carlos and Alexa, who are known for Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush and the Spy Kids movies, respectively, both competed on Dancing with the Stars Season 21 in 2015. Carlos came in fourth place, while Alexa ended in fifth.
