Denver's Manning tops fan voting for Pro Bowl

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning led all players in fan balloting for the Pro Bowl with 993,045 votes, the National Football League announced on Thursday.

Fan voting ended last Monday with Manning topping the list ahead of New England quarterback Tom Brady at 908,099 votes and Houston rusher Arian Foster with 829,591 votes.

American and National Conference stars whose teams do not reach the Super Bowl will meet January 27 at Honolulu in the annual exhibition match-up of league talent.

All-star squads are based on combined ballots from fans, coaches and players. Ballots from each group form one-third of the overall total in deciding which players will make the 43-man rosters.

Players and coaches will cast their votes by Friday, with rosters to be revealed on December 26.
