More than 50 people were injured when a car slammed into bystanders at a parade in the mountains of the US state of Virginia, US media reported Saturday.
The accident stunned people who flocked to a Trail Days parade, a rare large public event in the small southwestern Virginia town of Damascus, officials told local media.
Between 50 and 60 people were injured when the car collided with a crowd, Washington County emergency management director L.V. Pokey Harris told WYCB television.
