A mother who was killed during her birthday celebration in north London died from a gunshot wound to the chest, a post-mortem examination revealed on Sunday.
Nursery teacher Sabrina Moss, 24, was shot at 04.12 on Saturday in Kilburn High Road, while a second 24-year-old woman also injured in the shooting remains in a stable and non life-threatening condition in hospital.
Two people arrested over the incident were later released without charge.
“Our family has been devastated by this horrific incident that has changed our lives forever,” said parents John and Andrea Moss in a statement earlier.
“Sabrina was a fun-loving girl who made friends wherever she went.
“She was a lovely daughter and a perfect mother to her young son, whom she adored,” they added.
