Russia win women's 4×400 metres relay world gold

Russia won the women’s 4×400 metres relay world title on Saturday at the World Athletics Championships in Moscow.

The Russian quartet timed 3min 20.19sec while three-time defending champions the United States took silver (3:20.41) and Great Britain the bronze (3:22.61).

Russia last won the gold in the event in Helsinki in 2005.
