US drone attack kills 11 militants in Pakistan

A US drone attack on a militant compound killed 11 insurgents in northwest Pakistan’s tribal region near the Afghan border on Thursday, security and administration officials said.

“US drones fired four missiles on a militant compound and initial reports say 11 militants have died,” in Orakzai district, local administration official Khushal Khan told AFP.
