Three teenagers have been arrested over the stabbing of a man who was robbed of a copy of Grand Theft Auto V just hours after buying the game, police said on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old victim was hit with a brick, stabbed and stripped of his mobile phone, watch and the video game.
The attack came as he went home from a supermarket which had held a midnight launch for the famously violent game at around 1:20am on Tuesday morning in Colindale, north London.
Three youths aged 15, 17 and 18 have been held on suspicion of robbery.
“The motive for the attack is unclear at this stage,” a Scotland Yard spokesman said.
The man was taken to a hospital where he is in a stable condition.
