US President Barack Obama returned to the White House on Wednesday to resume work after a convincing re-election victory against Republican challenger Mitt Romney.
The Democrat incumbent flew back from Chicago, his hometown and site of his campaign headquarters, on Air Force One, accompanied by his wife Michelle and two daughters, 11-year-old Sasha and 14-year-old Malia.
