West Indies bat against Pakistan in 5th ODI

Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and put the West Indies in to bat in the fifth and final One-Day International of their series at the Beausejour Stadium in St Lucia on Wednesday.

With an unbeatable 2-1 lead following a tie and a six-wicket rain-affected victory in the previous two matches at the venue, the Pakistanis have recalled Asad Ali in place of fellow seamer Wahab Riaz, who proved expensive in the earlier matches at Beausejour.

Needing victory to avoid a third consecutive ODI series loss at home to Pakistan, the West Indies were forced into one change with Kemar Roach complaining of back stiffness on the morning of the match. Fellow Barbadian fast bowler Tino Best comes into the final eleven.

Teams: West Indies – D.J. Bravo (captain), J. Charles, D. Smith, D.M. Bravo, L. Simmons, C. Gayle, M. Samuels, D. Sammy, S. Narine J. Holder, T. Best.

Pakistan – Misbah-ul-Haq (captain), Nasir Jamshed, Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Haris Sohail, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Asad Ali, Junaid Khan, Saeed Ajmal, Mohammad Irfan.
