Japanese manufacturers' confidence dives: BoJ survey

Confidence among large Japanese manufacturers tumbled more than expected in the final months of the year, a Bank of Japan (BoJ) survey showed Friday.

Large manufacturers’ sentiment dropped to minus 12 from minus 3 three months ago, the central bank’s quarterly Tankan survey showed. Economists had expected a reading of minus 10.
