‘Tangled: Before Ever After’ trailer show’s Rapunzel’s hair growing back

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 15 (UPI) — Disney Channel has released a 1-minute trailer for its upcoming, animated sequel Tangled: Before Ever After.

“You may think you know Rapunzel’s story, but find out what happens before ever after. New Disney Channel Original Movie coming to Disney Channel in March,” reads a message that accompanied the clip on YouTube Friday.

The TV movie, which will kick off Tangled: The Series, takes place between the events of the 2010 feature film Tangled and the 2012 short film Tangled Ever After. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi are reprising their roles of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider a.k.a. Eugene for the follow-up.

This weekend’s trailer — which already has gotten more than 500,000 views — shows Rapunzel’s signature, long, magical, golden hair growing back. It was famously lopped off and turned dark at the end of Tangled.
