LOS ANGELES, April 21 (UPI) — {i:The Little Prince} released a new, English-language trailer Tuesday.
The preview features Jeff Bridges as The Aviator, an eccentric old man who relates the story of {i:The Little Prince} to his new neighbor (Mackenzie Foy), a child prodigy who lives with her well-meaning but overbearing mother (Rachel McAdams).
{i:The Little Prince} is based on the Antoine de Saint-Exupery novella of the same name, and directed by Mark Osbourne ({i:Kung Fu Panda}). Marion Cotillard, James Franco and Benicio del Toro also provide voice roles as The Rose, The Fox and The Snake, respectively.
The English-language French film will premiere at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in May, and open in France July 29. {i:The Little Prince} is one of the best-selling books of all time, and noted for its observations on human life and nature.
