WAM Sharjah, Apr 26th, 2013 (WAM) — H. H. Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah received yesterday at Al Badea Palace, Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and founder of Microsoft. Gates is visiting the country to participate in Global Vaccine Summit in Abu Dhabi.
H. H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al-Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Gates expressed his happiness to meet Sheikh Sultan, citing his humanitarian role. He also hailed the Sharjah Ruler for his cultural and scientific in the Arab and global levels.
Gates also appreciated the constructive role that Sheikha Jawaher plays in supporting the issues of woman in her country, as well as her supportive stances for the family.
After the meeting, Sharjah Ruler, Bill Gates and his accompanying delegation met an elite of key officials and businessmen in the country. They exchanged cordial talks on the value of the human being and moral role towards the needy categories.
The Sharjah Ruler affirmed that the UAE is a successful mixture of healthy competitiveness in the constructive trade and cultural development policies.
